NH Democrats Plan to Run an Honorable Campaign - NOT!

Below are plans being made by state democrats to attend the McCain Town Hall and try to disrupt and embarrass the Senator. The statements are appalling, immature, one in particular is out-right filth, and is an open display by a group who lacks respect for the election process, lacks the respect for a man who has given more to his country than they ever will in their lifetime.

I am sure as they bring in their 527 groups it will even sink lower as we witnessed in ‘06’. What really is a moment of contradiction is when I seen these same people lined up on a Saturday morning with the signs for peace and love.

I noted that several of the comments indicate the writers are parents; I wonder if this is the way they talk around their children?

In his ongoing quest for that third Bush term, John McCain will be in Nashua on Thursday for a town hall meeting. And any one of you can go, apparently, by going here to RSVP.

What: Town Hall Meeting in Nashua, NH
When: June 12, 2008

Where: Daniel Webster College Gymnasium
20 University Drive
Nashua, NH 03063

John McCain returns to New Hampshire for a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, June 12th in Nashua. The doors open at 12:30pm.

What would you ask him if you got the chance?

I've been working with Arnie Alpert of AFSC on the trade stuff. I wanted to post this again, it's on the calendar

AFSC plans to be outside the event with "Cost of War" banners. We are looking for 5 - 10 volunteers to join us. If you can help, please e-mail Erin Placey at eplacey@afsc.org, or call 603-224-2407.
If you are inside the event and manage to get called upon during the Town Meeting, here's some questions you might ask:

1. The Iraq war costs us hundreds of millions of dollars every day. That would amount to more than a trillion dollars over the four years of your presidential term if you get elected. How do you intend to pay for it? And don't you think our economy would be better off if we get out of Iraq sooner?

2. The Bush Administration's threats to use military force against Iran are provocative and destabilizing. What steps do you favor to put our two countries on the path to conflict resolution instead of another ill-conceived war?

3. In the speech you gave on nuclear security on May 27 in Denver, you said you supported Ronald Reagan's dream of "banishing nuclear weapons from the face of the earth." You also said we should work with the other nuclear states to fulfill our obligations under the Non-Proliferation Treaty for nuclear reductions. In fact, the Treaty is consistent with Ronald Reagan's dream. It calls for reductions and total elimination of nuclear weapons worldwide. What prudent and pragmatic steps will you take to achieve this legal obligation?

This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force.

The latter of those is a productive question. (0.00 / 0)
The first is thinly sourced rumor that would give him the appearance of the moral high ground.

I would ask (0.00 / 0)
about the fact that the Pentagon can't account for over $2.6 trillion in assets. The Pentagon has over 1000 accounting systems, and is unable to pass an audit.
I would ask what he plans to do about that.
